About This Course

Welcome to the Introduction to Mentoring: Foundation Level, which will give you an introduction into your mentoring journey.

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to understand more about mentoring and is especially valuable for those that have little prior knowledge of mentoring and wish to progress to the Core Level of training and become an accredited mentor. This course is professionally certificated and recognised by Leapfrog Mountain Mentoring Academy and the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE).

On successful completion of the materials and assessments, you will be provided with a digital course certificate of recognition from Leapfrog Mountain. In addition, you will receive a certificate, sent to you in the post. Your course programme also includes 12 months study membership to the IOEE with access to resources and forums with over 35,000 members. For more information and a link to the IOEE site click here

What training is available after this foundation course?

  • The Core level to become an accredited qualified mentor. This comprises of a one-day course and linked assessment and portfolio of evidence at an Ofqual Level 3.
  • The Advanced level to become a champion mentor. This comprises of a one-day course and follow up support and assessment leading to an Ofqual Level 5.

Who are IOEE?

The recognised UK Skills sector body for enterprise and enterprise support. The IOEE is the professional membership body for entrepreneurs and enterprising people.
